Why it matters

Takatāpui Māori deserve to live safely and fully as themselves; without discrimination, exclusion, or harm. Takatāpui Māori deserve to live with safety, dignity, joy, and full belonging in their whānau, hapori, and nation. No one should be pushed to the margins for being wholly themselves.
